While guests did seem to have numerous issues with the hotel, they often went on to say that the room-rate they paid was very low so they were willing to overlook them. Essentially, they felt the hotel functioned well as a budget property offering good value for money.

Again, given the low room-rate, guests were perhaps surprised to find a lovely rooftop pool available to them. Given Thailand's heat and humidity, they were relieved to be able to take a quick refreshing dip at the end of a long hot day.

Guests were pretty happy with the location. While not right on the beach, it is not too far away, and neither is Pattaya's famous Walking Street. Both are well within walking distance.

This was perhaps the most common compliant. Going by guest comments it seems that many of the rooms are in a fairly poor state. Guests speak of paint peeling off the wall, broken fixtures and the like. While most were willing to overlook these shortcomings because of the cheap prices, some were a bit more bothered.

A couple of guests looking to keep in shape while travelling were disappointed to find most of the equipment in the gym had signs attached saying something to the effect of “out of order”. The guests themselves found this situation “out of order”, and were very unhappy not to be able to use an advertised service.

Perhaps not surprisingly, given the other problems, the hotel was said to have pretty poor Wi-Fi as well. It was said to cut out, and be most unreliable.
