Negative Reviews
negative:
Unsafe neighbourhood
Guests often comment on feeling unsafe at night time in the surrounding area of this hostel, with several reports of drunken people congregating around the hostel entrance and nearby streets and bars. Females in particular state that they don’t feel comfortable leaving the hostel alone after dark.
negative:
Slow Wi-Fi
The free Wi-Fi is frequently criticised for being slow and unreliable, with guests reporting having to regularly log in and out at sporadic times. In such a large hostel with sometimes hundreds of guests it appears the quality of Wi-Fi isn't sufficient.
negative:
Loud environment at night
The hostel is located in a busy area with an abundance of nightlife, and in addition, the hostel also contains its own bar. This leads to a lot of late night noise and disruption which a copious amount of guests find to be disturbing and often keeping them awake.
