The rooms were functional and simple but many guests commented that they found them more than adequately clean and comfy for a stopover. Drivers in particular welcomed this property's location off the A50 motorway in the eastern outskirts of Marseille. Not only did it offer ample free parking, but also it was within easy driving distance of beauty spots, Mediterranean beaches and golf courses plus downtown Marseille with its many historic sites, museums, nightlife options and shopping areas. Non-drivers liked the way there were bus stops and a railway station nearby. Another convenience was that there were various places to eat in the surrounding area.
Light sleepers occasionally blamed thin walls for enabling them to hear nuisance noise from adjacent rooms and corridors too easily. Meanwhile, lingering smoky smells bothered visitors in several rooms. Some critics were also disappointed that the rooms didn't include en suite bathrooms as standard.
It disappointed several guests that the free Wi-Fi network had a limited range and sometimes offered sluggish speeds.
