Positive Reviews

Small and caring staff

Staff is considered to be brilliant and diligent. There are not many of them, but they are always cheerful and, more important, they are extremely caring.

Dining is a delight

There are very few restaurant alternatives in this remote area. Fortunately, this is of little consequence as the food served here is considered to be very good. The Bengali-style dishes are particularly well received.

A real piece of peace and tranquillity

Surrounded by palm trees, this location provides the ultimate in relaxation. The lawned garden, outdoor pool, badminton and tennis courts, all just serve to add to the detachment from day to day pressures. This is why guests are drawn here, and they are not disappointed.

Negative Reviews

There is no coffee in this plantation

The resort is in the middle of an extensive coffee plantation. Guests, however, are perplexed that there are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms and villas. The alternative room service is extremely slow and long drawn out. It is also very slow in the restaurant and guests put this down to the resort employing only a skeleton staff.

It is time to improve the rooms

There are accommodation options here. The standard room, though, is considered to be cramped and small. Guests recommend stretching the budget, if possible, and going for a deluxe room, or even a cottage-type villa. It is also stressed that the rooms are not air-conditioned. It is further noted that whilst the cottage option is the best, there is more availability in the less appealing rooms’ category. There are, in fact, only five cottages.

Maintenance is needed

Over time, some damage has occurred, and it has been allowed to accumulate. A competent maintenance regime would have solved the problem, and that is what is now required.
