The rooms are fine

Rooms are clean and really quite attractive. Guests generally are pleased to find that the rooms are also more spacious than might have been expected.

A good value location

The tariff charged is very reasonable. This fact is emphasised by the hotel’s impressive location in the heart of things and very close to shops and restaurants.

Negative Reviews

Noisy and quite down-market

Guests who are more used to staying in star-rated hotels describe this one as being more like a hostel. It is certainly only ideal for guests who relish the sound of nightclub music pounding away throughout the night. This finishes only when they are due to get up for the start of another day.

Maintenance and cleaning procedures need improving

It isn’t good policy for arriving guests to have to navigate their way around piles of dirty laundry and rubbish to reach their rooms. With so many other faults, this is one which could be solved quickly, and with ease. Once established in the room, that initial disappointment re-appears with the absence of hot water in the shower.

Guests are allocated rooms that lack the facilities they specified when booking. There are many queries and problems relating to the prices being charged and the entire process is lethargic and time-wasting. The numbers of guests complaining along these lines indicates that some of these faults are deep-rooted in the hotel’s administration policies.
