Hotel Yew Tree Farm B&B Ledbury
Yew Tree Farm has been on this site since circa. 1500, the main house was built around 1750 with the original Yew Tree Cottage situated to the rear of the new house. Our Georgian home has been sympathetically decorated inside to reflect the periods since it was built. We are a small working farm building up our own herd of pedigree Gloucester Old Spot Pigs and flock of Herdwick Sheep in addition to the farmyard ducks, geese and chickens. Our products are sold seasonally through the family shop "Halfords Butchers" owned and run by our daughter Nicki and her husband Lee in Tewkesbury. As part of our farming mix to ensure the continuance of the farm our activities also include producing our own "Farmhouse Perry", (proper pear cider), made from the perry pear trees on the farm plus offering bed & breakfast and caravan & camping facilities. We currently have two rooms available all en-suite with showers, our guests have the use of the ground floor drawing room and breakfast is served in the main dining room. We do need to point out as can be seen from the picture being able to manage stairs comfortably is essential. Room rates are available with or without breakfast start from £78 and £65 respectively and there is ample car parking. Yew Tree is located on a very quiet country lane with stunning views of May Hill in Gloucestershire and Marcle Ridge from all the bedrooms plus the Malvern Hills from the grounds in an easterly direction. more
