Positive Reviews

Exquisite location and garden

With its stunning views and well-maintained grounds, this property charms even the worldliest of travellers. Visitors find themselves captivated by the orchard garden, which is considered to be one of the best features of the grounds. The stunning 360 degree-panoramas from the Crow’s Nest atop the castle are not to be missed, either. From its position in the lap of the Himalayas to the vegetable garden, which provides fresh produce for the meals served at the hotel, everything about the property pleases its guests.

Exceptional service

From the moment they arrive until their departure, guests enjoy stellar service provided by the hotel staff. Reviewers consider the service to be prompt, and note that staff members are unwaveringly polite. Should guests need anything during their stay, they find that their requests are met without hesitation. All in all, visitors feel the service is in line with, and perhaps even exceeds, what one would expect from a five-star facility.

Buildings with old-world charm

It’s not often travellers are able to enjoy staying in a Gothic-style castle. Guests enjoy feeling like royalty while staying in either the castle chambers or the two-bedroom cottages. The sprawling staircase, marble bathrooms, and stunning architecture all throughout the facilities are also appreciated by guests.

Negative Reviews

Many steps to climb

Those staying in the main castle building warn that there are many steps to negotiate in order to get about the building. As a result, they report that it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
