Positive Reviews

Pretty good value for money

Travellers are, on the whole, quite impressed with the rates charged at this hotel. Reviewers believe that, all things considered, they actually receive a decent return on their money here.

Convenient location for seeing the sights

With the French Quarter, the beach and the Old Light House all within easy strolling distance, it's easy to why so many visitors rate this property's location so highly in reviews. Having so many eateries scattered all around the hotel is considered a big plus point too.

Negative Reviews

No parking available

Disgruntled travellers are distinctly unimpressed with the lack of parking at this hotel. This, they say, is inaccurate advertising as most online booking sites (as well as the hotel's own website) state a car park is available.

Accommodations aren't so great

It's fair to say this hotel's accommodations receive a lot of flack in reviews. Disappointed visitors say the general standard of cleanliness within the guest rooms is well below par, with numerous travellers noting cockroaches are a common sight. The bathrooms, which many reviews highlight as grubby and unhygienic, come in for plenty of criticism too.

Power cuts are an issue

Reviewers identify the frequent power cuts in this area as a cause for concern. The fact that the hotel doesn't have a back-up generator of any kind to compensate for these outage events doesn't go down well with guests. Some have eve been stuck in the lift.
