Positive Reviews

Great location

The hotel sits in a rather quiet area but guests noted that it is quite easy to get to popular attractions, public transportation and restaurants. Not only can you walk to the nearby parks and the convention center, but the pick-up points for the trolleys, taxis and carriage rides are also near the hotel.

Recently renovated rooms

Most guests found the refurbished rooms to be modern and well decorated, with the new furniture, carpet, black-out curtains, mattresses and sheets to be to their liking.

Pet-friendly hotel

If you're don't want to leave your pet behind, you'll be happy to hear that guests found this to be a very accommodating pet-friendly hotel.

Negative Reviews

Expensive add-on fees

With no self-parking and very limited on-street parking, you will most likely end up having to use the hotel's valet service, which guests pointed out came at a rather steep price. Moreover, there is a daily fee for Wi-Fi, and members of the loyalty program noted that the hotel's breakfast now consists of very few choices and any cooked-to-order items required an additional charge.

Some potential noise concerns

Guests noted that the rooms didn't appear to be soundproofed too well, as they could hear the traffic and trolleys through the windows. They also stated hearing noise from other rooms, particularly dogs barking, which is bound to happen due to the hotel being a pet-friendly property, and other guests talking or moving around in the hallways was a frequently mentioned issue as well.

Rooms not always perfect

Several guests pointed out that there was an odor in the rooms and that their air-conditioners did not function properly. A few also noted that their bathrooms hadn't been cleaned well, as they saw dirty floors and tubs.
