Review summary
Summarized by AI from 300+ reviews
This hotel is a rustic retreat best suited for budget travelers and sightseers seeking a no-frills base for exploration. Its peaceful riverside location offers convenient access to Loch Ness and the scenic NC500 route. The property provides a communal kitchen, generally well-equipped for guest use, though its hours and location across the road can be a minor inconvenience. While staff interactions are mixed, some guests have experienced helpful individuals, and the availability of a kitchen facility offers a self-catering option. For a more comfortable stay, consider bringing your own bedding and inquire about rooms that have been recently maintained.
