Riviera on Vaal Resort

The hotel is widely celebrated for its stunning river views, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that many guests find incredibly relaxing. This signature feature makes it an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and a peaceful escape. While the property is recognized for its friendly staff and good food, many reviews highlight that the hotel is an older establishment, with some areas and rooms showing signs of age and a need for maintenance and upgrades. Despite this, it remains a popular choice for families due to its kid-friendly amenities, couples looking for a romantic getaway, and golfers who appreciate the on-site course. It also caters to business travelers with its spacious conference facilities. To enhance your stay, it is advisable to inquire about the availability of recently renovated rooms, as these are generally preferred by guests. Additionally, be prepared for potential delays in restaurant service during peak times.
