Review summary
Summarized by AI from 40+ reviews
This hotel is primarily recognized for its budget-friendly accommodations and its convenient location near the Virginia Tech Campus, making it a practical option for those seeking a no-frills stay. It particularly caters to budget-conscious travelers needing a simple overnight stop during long journeys or event attendees when other local accommodations are fully booked. While a few guests found it to be a suitable and affordable choice for their basic needs, many others expressed significant disappointment with its overall condition and cleanliness. The property is consistently described as dated, with numerous reports of pervasive odors and general disrepair impacting guest comfort. To ensure a more satisfactory experience, guests are advised to manage their expectations regarding amenities and be prepared for a very basic environment. It is also recommended to consider bringing personal cleaning supplies, as cleanliness is a frequently raised concern among visitors.
