Review summary

Summarized by AI from 700+ reviews

A historic, character-filled retreat for independent city explorers.

This property welcomes independent travelers seeking an authentic stay within a charming, historic setting. The medieval city centre location pairs with self-catering facilities to provide a convenient base for exploring local landmarks. Guests often praise the comfortable bedding and unique room layouts, with many finding that booking a room with a view of the tranquil courtyard enhances the overall experience. While the atmosphere is distinct, the inconsistent service and maintenance levels remain a point of discussion for those expecting a more polished, full-service hotel environment.

Some guests mentioned: worn furnishings, inconsistent service, narrow parking entrance.
