Hotel Victoria (Thalassery, India)

Victoria Hotel established in 1930 is set on a cliff overlooking the Arabian Sea. On its grounds are gazebos where guests can enjoy short eats and drinks while watching the sparkling blue of the sea dotted with fishing boats during the day or enjoy a lovely, many-hued sunset at dusk. Gentle sea breezes throughout the day and evening help guests into a calm and relaxing state. Victoria is a 16-bedroom facility with a bar, 24-hour coffee shop and two restaurants. The well appointed rooms with baths make our guests' stay at Victoria a pleasing experience. Adding to the ambience, several rooms overlook the sea, where guests can get to watch sunrises while sipping a hot cup of bed tea or coffee, thanks to room service, and enjoy a continental or Indian breakfast. Right next to the hotel is the Municipal Sea View park with a playground for children. From the park there is a route further down the rocks, where one can sit and fish if one so desires. Typical Kerala Sadyas (meals on plantain leaves) are served at lunch. The restaurants and the coffee shop provide grilled dishes from the tandoor and seafood.
