Art In The Open (Wexford, Ireland)

Art in the Open, Europe’s largest week-long festival of outdoor painting takes place every year around the August Bank Holiday in Wexford. Selected locations in beautiful Irish countryside promise the painting holiday of a lifetime with transport available to and from each venue daily. With artists from different countries you will make friends and learn new skills and approaches to landscape painting and there are workshops offered in all painting media with international tutors. There is a fun ‘Quick Draw’ timed event, life-drawing sessions, art talks and a free artists’ barbecue and after a full day’s painting you can relax with friends over a pint of Guinness or an Irish coffee.
