Butterfly & Bird House (Solna, Sweden)

The butterfly house has around 400 butterflies at any one time, from all over the world. The bird house has around 40 species, all flying freely in a sub-tropical climate. Photography is fine, and disabled access is possible. Opening hours: Summer: April-September Tue-Fri 10:00-16:00 sat & sun 11:00-17:30 Winter: October-March Tue-Fri 10:00-15:00 sat & sun 11:00-16:00 Mondays closed, except “red mondays” (bank holidays)- it is open. Midsummer, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year´s Eve closed. A shop, cafe and education centre are available.
