Buxton Museum and Art Gallery (Buxton, United Kingdom)

The Buxton Museum and Art Gallery is located right in the centre of the Spa town of Buxton, on the edge of Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park. It houses a large collection of artefacts that depict the history of the Town, from its days as a Roman Fort through to the present day. The exhibits are arranged in various rooms on two floors, all of which are easily accessible for disabled users. Entry is free and the opening hours are as follows: Mondays - closed Tuesday - 9.30 am to 5.30pm Wednesday - 9.30 am to 5.30pm Thursday - 9.30 am to 5.30pm Friday - 9.30 am to 5.30pm Saturday - 9.30am to 5pm Sunday - 10.30am - 5pm Bank Holidays -10.30am - 5pm
