The collections of the museum include exhibits of art ranging from old masters to modern art and design, as well as fashion and local history and a particularly well-preserved ship - called the Utrecht Ship - that is believed to be more than a thousand years old. Entrance is €8 for adults, €2 for children under 12 and €6 for older children and other concessions. Opening hours are from 11 am to 5 pm Tuesday to Sunday. The museum is closed on Mondays.
