Washington Park (Denver, USA)

Washington Park in Denver spans 165 acres from Virginia Avenue in the north to Louisiana Avenue in the south and features croquet courts, trails and jogging paths, ponds, and various landscaping and garden areas. Much of the design is from the late 19th century by Reinhard Schuetze but others have contributed features such as a boat house and evergreen grove. The park, renowned for its 54 flower gardens, also offers two playgrounds, tennis courts, athletic facilities and a recreation center which includes an indoor pool.
