Steamboat Ski Resort (Steamboat Springs, USA)

Built on the mountains reaching above the quiet ranching community of Steamboat Springs the ski resort of Steamboat has 164 ski trails covering 3,000 skiable acres. The ski area encompasses some six peaks and has produced a record 69 Olympians representing five different countries. The resort averages 338 inches of snow each winter. Lift tickets start at $85 and can be purchased online. Non stop air transportation is available via Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas_Ft. Worth, Denver and both New York City airports. During the summer months hiking, horseback riding and golf are all available in the area.
